He received his MS degree from RIO, Guwahati Medical College, in 2017 and later underwent a long-term Orbit and Oculoplasty fellowship from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tamil Nadu, from 2018-2020. He is also trained in Phaco Surgery at Susrut Eye Hospital, Kolkata, and pursued his Vitreo Retinal fellowship from The Retina Centre, Guwahati.
