Dr. Pranamee Das is a Consultant at The Retina Centre, specializing in Cataract, Anterior Segment, and Oculoplastic Surgeries. She completed her MBBS and MS in Ophthalmology from the prestigious Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh. Dr. Das received advanced training in Phacoemulsification Surgery at the renowned Sushrut Eye Foundation and Research Centre in Kolkata.
Dr. Das has presented various papers at both state and international conferences, showcasing her expertise and contributions to the field of ophthalmology. She has also served as an Eye Surgeon under the District Blindness Control Society, part of the National Programme for Control of Blindness (NPCB), in Nagaon for three years. Following this, she founded the Ophthalmology Department at GNRC Medical Hospital, where she served as a Consultant and Head of Department for five years.
With experience performing over 5,000 cataract surgeries and 2,500 oculoplastic surgeries successfully, Dr. Das is an esteemed specialist in her field. Her areas of expertise include:
