He completed his MBBS graduation from Guwahati Medical College and his MS training was subsequently finalized from the prestigious Assam Medical College. Furthermore, Dr Buragohain enhance his scientific knowledge through the achievement of various fellowship programs from Sankara Netralaya Chennai and Sankardeva Netralaya Guwahati and a short term training course on Ocular Ultrasonography in Eye and Ear Infirmary, New York, USA.
