Farhad Ahmed is the CEO of The Retina Centre, a Super-specialty Eye Hospital based in Guwahati, Assam, founded in January 2019 by a team of highly experienced doctors.
He is a seasoned, young entrepreneur. His area of expertise includes investing in new ventures and raise them as a brand in less time. Having worked in MNCs as a Distributor, he brings industry insights and professionalism to his approach in a structured format.
He pursued MBA in Marketing from Alliance University, a premier B-School in Bangalore. He started his career as a distributor for Ingersoll Rand, an American commercial air conditioning company. He was ranked among the top distributors within the first year of his service. Realizing his true love in the marketing sector, he moved to KAFF Kitchen Appliances, a premium kitchen brand, as a distributor, where he truly excelled in his performance. Subsequently, he moved to the Retail front and owned multiple outlets under the Future Group in Bangalore.
During his corporate and entrepreneurial stint, Farhad has worked in diverse industries gaining knowledge in all fields, which helped him excel in his Healthcare brand – The Retina Centre. He has been working on building and excelling this Eye Hospital as a brand to cover the rest of the North Eastern Region, which is underserved as far as Healthcare is concerned. His understanding of the Healthcare Industry is incredibly impeccable, having dealt with the marketing segment and being instrumental in providing Eye Care Treatments from routine eye tests to treat the most elaborate vision and eye-related problems throughout the patient journey.
